Multi-talented bicycle riding enthusiast. Emma has a deep passion for getting more women on bikes through experiencing the joys of mountain bike riding. Being actively involved in the bicycle industry for the past 15 years as a MTB & Road bike skills trainer, Bike Tour Guide, Bicycle Mechanic, Bicycle Retail Store Manager and Bicycle Advocate, has given her a love of cycling that bears no boundaries.

The She Rides Confidence program – Brisbane Explore will start from Gap Creek Reserve for two sessions and then change location each session thereafter, with continuing to explore the network of amazing MTB areas around the greater Brisbane area.
The first part of the program will cover knowledge about how the mountain bike works, bike setup and basic but very useful bike maintenance. Then we will develop basic riding skills to increase confidence by using the fire road trails as a form of fitness and recreation. Following on from the introductory sessions, we will step the riding up a level and start to experience some of the fun and flowy single track. As we continue to explore the different MTB trail networks each session, we will continue to evolve and learn new bike handling skills, becoming more confident and skilled riders in the process.
There are many community cycling events and social happenings in and around Brisbane that will provide a fantastic goal for you participate in and achieve in the months following the program.
