I love riding and have ridden since I was young. In 2007 I started to compete in Triathlons and moved across to join the Illawarra Cycle Club not long after. Where I continued to race on the road then ventured onto the track for some extra speedy competitions.
My favourite cycling race is criterium circuits, as it is at a fast speed and you need to think strategically if you want to win it. The last few years I haven’t raced as much and have focused on promoting Women in Cycling starting up the Wollongong Women’s Cycling Network and working in with Trek Australia as a Women’s Advocate. Together we promote group rides and coaching days for women in the area. I joined She Rides in 2015 for this same reason to get more women excited about riding bikes because it’s fun and you make some great friendships out there cycling.

You will enjoy the beautiful scenery the Illawarra has to offer as we cycle around local bike paths and enjoying coffee stops along the way. During the course you will learn how to use your brakes & gears, corner & stay upright. No fitness is required and a flat bar or road bike is required.
